ask google

I am thankful that a lot of my questions and worries are now google-able. As a mom, having a lot of information available in a few seconds after typing some key words in google is quite helpful. Though almost always the information can be quite overwhelming (and contradicting each other) but it still makes me a few steps ahead of my worries and concerns. This does not mean that I follow or believe everything that I have searched and read, but it feels great to have an idea of how things are, how bad things can be and the good possibilities.

One thing one must learn though when googling is to know when to STOP ;)

What do you want?

Sofia always asks me this, though she is actually telling me to ask her just that, but whenever I answer with my choice, she would 100% choose something else - and insist on it. She has become an individual now, making a lot of the basic decisions in her simple life - what to wear, what slippers to use, what color of M&M to eat, what game to play, what book to read and the list goes on. I still win over when its time to go to bed, though not without much resistance and No's from this little girl.

Seating here, looking at her - my 2-year-old baby - made me think of this question, "What do you want?" and I'm still struggling for an answer.
