It's December

Ah...it's that time of the year when I feel especially excited for yet another round of celebration. I'm looking forward to parties with friends and families that make you forget even for awhile about life's complexities and worries.

I'm 18 weeks pregnant now and this is one extra challenge during a holiday season. Shopping is a big effort considering the crowded malls at any time and any day of the month. I will probably be relying mostly on my favorite online stores for my shopping. Oh well, I'm not complaining though because surely online shopping is just as fun and yet less stressful and expensive as going out. Just finding for a parking space in malls will take much of your shopping time. I'm glad that now we have so many alternative channels to do our shopping...UK in just about every corner, bazaars here and there, ebay, multiply, 168, baclaran, divi and malls everywhere...talk about choices!

The BER month is here again

It's September. Time flew so fast I haven't noticed its been so many days past my last entry in here. I have been guilty of procrastinating from posting all my "draft" versions of entries and I even have written down a list of all the topics that I am supposed to write about and I'm afraid I have written down quite a few already, I'd have to write everyday to clean up the list. Sigh.

And what have I been busy about these past? Hmm lemme see. Sleep, ebay and out of town. Nyahahaha. Yup...I have been enjoying life (sue me). You see, we have this Sunday ritual with my family. Used to be that its just me, my husband and the baby (with the ever reliable ate nanang), but last two Sundays, we were with some other family members too.

Last Sunday was a blast. We went to Tagaytay (my sisters rest house) with the whole additional gang (read: 5 of my nephews). It was a sinful day of eating and eating...oh well we had our shot of exercise naman, coz we played Badminton. I have promised my husband that I will play once a week as a form of exercise (hmm galaw galaw naman dyan kasi) but after the body pain I got from last Sunday, I'm already thinking of reasons why I shouldn't. Its Tuesday now and my arms and legs still hurt like h3ll. Waah! But don't get me wrong, we really had fun, especially Sofia who had a chance to run all she want in the field and pick all kinds of flowers (she adores them like a bee). I have noticed that unlike some chilren (or me) who would pull flowers apart or simply throw them away after a while (1 minute tops), my daughter would gently hold it in her little hands and would really try her best not to deform in whatever way the petals. She is an angel.

Nyt Lyf

Today I officially start my night shift work =) Not that I'm a big fan of working at night but I feel that I am going to enjoy it. Why? I'm going to be with Cher more during the day. What more can I ask for? I only hope that dad will be able to sustain taking care of our angel while mom's at work...hmm - lets see tom ;)

I made this special Carbonara for my Lola's 76th bday. And they (the guests -who are actually family members...hint hint) loved it. Haha. I have been meaning to cook some special and original versions of invented food (huh?) for my family but as my priorities has not allowed me to do this before, I am now in my practice stage...yet again...

Geesh I might as well learn food presentation too. Hmm. Nway, next time =)

My Featured "Pikchurd" Friend

She calls me her "unexpected" friend (whatever that means). Maybe because even when this picture was taken, we were'nt as close friends, well as compared to now (..hmm) It took a while before we got closer and I don't know why --- aside from our difference in shift before (night and day). Until the day I left, we had always had "sayang hindi namin nagawa" times. sigh..

She is still my good "busy" friend now. I just hope that we finally find time to start our shifters list. =) Shelshi, ano na?

Oh my! I failed my A/P Training Exam =(

Got the result of my first training exam --- sad news, 79% (the passing mark is 80%). I am not losing hope though (duh! as if I got any bettter choice). I will do better in my next test - PROMISE. I think I just need to visualize more, send the message to the universe that I want a GC!!!! Give it, give it, give it to me baby...

New World - No Limits

Finally...starting over again. Its my 2nd day @ work and I have enjoyed being this new cast in my new world. My role as an apprentice gives me this different rush and high that I haven't quite felt for awhile. No ones fault really. I know that this job will be both challenging and hard, but I think its going to be satisfying... sweet. Hopefully I just found the work I feel passionately about. Keeping my fingers crossed. Besides tom is just day 3. Will keep you posted =)

Tribute to "TiPi"

I don't know how life will be like without TiPi. In 5 days, the witness of my everyday struggle and moments of delusional fulfillment will be gone...forever, to serve another corporate slave. I hope that her new master slave will be more sober,less addicted to stress, more emotionally grounded and oh I really hope that she (am hoping for a female) will take care of her in so much better way than I did.

Dakol na Salamat Tipi! You never turned blue, never dumped your memory, though yes you hanged on me in a few momentous events (e.g. important presentations) but it is just but fair. I have kept you awake and working for more than I have been awake and working. I know I have let you down a few times too.

I will always remember you Tipi. You will always have a special place in my heart. You always made my back ache for carrying you around, for sure I will miss that. =)
